President orders the voluntary liquidation of Seguros Sucre

President Guillermo Lasso signed a decree ordering the voluntary liquidation of Seguros Sucre. The process will be in charge of the members of the board of directors of the National Finance Corporation (CFN). Through Executive Decree No. 82, signed this Tuesday, June 15, the Head of State made the announcement official.

The CFN Board of Directors will be in charge of this process

The Board of Directors will have to process the liquidation at the General Meeting of Shareholders of Seguros Sucre SA, where a liquidator who has no link with the company will be appointed. The cessation of new businesses and the renewal of insurance policies will also be addressed.

The President ordered that the CFN Board of Directors submit a monthly report, with a copy to the Legal Secretary of the Presidency. In the document will be the planning and the acts that are executed to comply with the liquidation of Seguros Sucre.

During the liquidation process, the company will be prohibited from hiring personnel before the issuance of the decree of the Chief Executive Officer.
