In some supermarkets and stores that exposed certain imported articles or whose manufacture contains any foreign element, one could witness a shortage of those items.
The items match with several of those in the 293 subdepartures that were forced by the Foreign Trade Committee to present INEN certifications for their entrance into the country, these are: cleaning products, beverages, personal care products and cosmetics.
Spokesmen for supermarkets and stores remain silent about the shortage. So did manufacturers and importers of products.
