Project for the finance of BDH is ready

President Rafael Correa approved the urgent tax reform bill that will aim to fund the increase from $ 35 to $ 50 of the Human Development Bonus (BDH for its Spanish acronym) since January 2013; which shall be analyzed by the National Assembly within of 30 days.
At noon yesterday, at the president’s office met, to argue the issue, the legal secretary of the Presidency, Alexis Mera; the director of the Internal Revenue Service (SRI for its Spanish acronym), Carlos Marx Carrasco; the president of the Central Bank of Ecuador and directive of Ugedep, Pedro Delgado and ministers of state as Jeanneth Sanchez, coordinator of economic policy; and of finance, Patricio Rivera.
The details of policy changes for the increasing of BDH remain unknown since no authority talked on the matter, except Carrasco who said the president will announce the reforms next Saturday.
Also, Carrasco said that next Monday he will summon a press conference to explain the initiative. (MZ)
