Property tax collection begins

With a discount of 10%, today began the collection of property taxes for the 2013, which is why it is expected that within the first days of this month, the influx of taxpayers to the Municipality, on the Malecon Simon Bolivar and Clemente Ballen.

The Municipality of Guayaquil enabled this morning 22 windows for property owners to pay the tax.

But despite the number of windows, users willing to pay taxes reached kilometer levels since the system used to record payments, is currently disabled.

People can’t pay the tax because the system is disabled.

In accordance with the provisions stated by the Mayor, people who pays the fee in the first half of January will receive a 10% discount on the value of the returns.

During the same period, those who pay in February will receive 8% discount, March 6%, April 4%, May 3% and June 2%.

Attention will be from 07h00 to 18h30 from Monday to Friday and from 09:00 to 13:00 on Saturdays.
