Protests were Held in the Foreign Ministry
This morning, dozens of members of the National Coalition Movement gathered outside the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with boxes painted in black and written words concerning the “diplomatic suitcas.”
Around 10:40, a group of 20 people against the movement arrived to the same building calling themselves “Ciudadanos Frente De Choque,” who shouted slogans against the coalition and criticized the protests by demonstrators.
“These are pranks and makes the country look bad,” said one of the demonstrators against the Movement, who described himself as a defender of the “people’s image” and said the issue of narcovalija must be investigated in the prosecution offices.
Santiago Becdach, from the Movement said: “We came here with a peaceful attitude and we will not fall into provocations.”
According to newspaper El Comercio sources the , documents from the Narcotics Police, certified that they did not found any “significant discoveries in the checking (of the suitcase).”
