PSC fights for their “right to the replicate,” the regime denies it
The Social Christian Assemblywoman Cynthia Viteri called totalitarian and dictatorial the order by the National Secretariat of Communication (SECOM) to the media to not play a TV broadcast “signed by the Municipality of Guayaquil.”
The video was released ten times in two television stations, according to Viteri is the replica of the City Hall to images broadcast on the clashes between local police and members of the collective Guayaquil Sin Garrote, who used masks that parodied the Mayor Jaime Nebot, last Wednesday.
In response, the regime leader, Rafael Correa, last Saturday criticized the alleged violent action against local police youth. Meanwhile lawmaker said that the Constitution guarantees the right to the replicate and it is undermining.
The controversial broadcast displays images of alleged assaults of the National Police and the Army during evictions at Mount Sinai.
