PSP denounces the presidency for demeaning video

PSP denounced video
The National Assembly candidate of the Partido Sociedad Patriotica (PSP) Gilmar Gutierrez, in a press conference, asked the Prosecutor’s Office, the National Electoral Council (CNE for its Spanish acronym) and the Electoral Contentious Tribunal (TCE for its Spanish acronym) to investigate and punish the Ministry of Presidential Communication for a documentary broadcast made last Sunday.
According to Gutierrez, the video, which was aired on different TV channels in primetime, represents a breach of Article 205 of the Code of Democracy and “denigrates and affects the image” of former president Lucio Gutierrez.
The offender, says Gutierrez, is the communications secretary Fernando Alvarado, “He is responsible for having arranged the documentary aired, material complaint.”
Gutierrez insists that “the documentary provides erroneous information, inaccurate and false of my brother’s presidency and certainly seeks to promote the president in office and presidential candidate, Rafael Correa.” (MZ)
