Queen Elizabeth II Celebrates her Jubilee Amidst Controversy

Queen Elizabeth II celebrates her 60-years in the throne
The Queen of the United Kingdom, Elizabeth II celebrated today the 60 years in the British throne with a lunch in the Windsor Castle. Almost all the royal houses attended the controversial event.
This is the biggest concentration of ruling monarchs in the last decade, since the Golden Jubilee of the sovereign ruler that was criticized in 2002 because it invited members of royal houses like Bahrein, Swaziland, and Saudi Arabia.
The Buckingham palace did not made any statements for considering that lunch as a private event. Meanwhile the Foreign office pointed that all the royal houses were invited.
The 86-year-old queen invited 98 guests such as, the king Albert of Belgium, Carl Gustav from Sweeden, and the prince Albert II of Monaco among others. (AV)
