Quishpe: we asked the president to stop violating of the Constitution
The prefect of Zamora-Chinchipe, Salvador Quishpe, in an interview with Ecuavisa referred to persons detained following the demonstrations of the indigenous march during the first half of August, he said he had evidence of how women were assaulted inside their homes, of people who were beaten and one of them lost some of his denture, although the government says the opposite, because they almost say that the police appeased the protesters with bouquets of flowers.
“The government knows about the excesses committed,”. Quishpe said he asks that Justice acts independently, apparently, a dependence on the central government persists.
The prefect blamed the president for the current crisis in the country because he routinely violates the Constitution.
