Posted On 18 Jan 2011

After meeting in San Isidro with the families of those who perished in the crash of Reina del Camino, president Rafael Correa said that neither the Transit Commission, nor him will accept the decision that the first temporary judge for Children and Teenagers, Francisco Izurieta, made yesterday, when he allowed back the operation of Reina del Camino buses.

The president ordered the Police commander to conduct investigations and if necessary, to set sanctions for officers who were on duty the day of the accident and allowed the vehicle to run with excess of passengers.
