In Colombia, investigations into the alleged entry of drug money into the campaign of President Gustavo Petro continue. The Prosecutor’s Office is investigating some 27 people , confirmed Óscar Ramírez, a political and judicial journalist for Noticias RCN and NTN24.

In addition, he said that apparently “there is a person close to him who became a key witness. He is not an undercover agent but someone who works with Nicolás”.
Regarding Raisa Vulgarín , substitute candidate for national assembly member for the Revolucion Ciudadana political party, Ramírez maintained that in the nine hours of hearing that took place yesterday, Thursday, August 3, 2023, nothing was mentioned about her. It is unknown how she is linked.
Did Gustavo Petro, president of Colombia, know about the income of money from drug trafficking?
