Real Madrid Beats Barcelona 2-1 in Spanish League

The first score came in the 18th minute after a corner kick that Pepe nodded, and caused confusion arose between Victor Valdes and Carles Puyol, who let loose the ball for Sami Khedira to just score (0-1).
The tie would come in the second time. Alexis Sanchez scored for the Catalans at minute 70. In a quick move from the left, Sanchez scored in two moves (1-1).
But Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo crashed the party premises two minutes later. At 72, executed a powerful shot that put the lead back to Real Madrid (1-2). (ARL)
