Real Madrid will play against Galatasaray

The Real Madrid will seek today to take the first step towards the semi-finals of the Champions League when facing Galatasaray, in a duel that can well be seen as a “knockout trap”.

Galatasaray is on the brink of living an important moment if it happens to pass to the next round, they will play his second semifinal in their history, 24 years after the first.

It will also be the match of the reunion of Mourinho with several players who he appreciates  a lot , such as Ivorian striker Didier Drogba (former player of Chelsea), Hamit Altintop (former Real Madrid) and the Dutch midfielder Wesley Sneijder (former member of Inter Milan).

Real Madrid has been concerned by the number of Galatasaray fans that will  be present today at the outside of the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium without tickets. The club has handed over 3,800 locations to the rival, 5% of the total capacity, as required by UEFA, but expected that some 10,000 fans of the Turkish team land today in the capital. In this way, some 6,000 followers of Galatasaray would be in Madrid in search of an ticket.
