Red Cross Negotiates Ceasefire in Syria

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) informed that it’s in talks with all the parties concerned about Syria’s crisis to negotiate a ceasefire. The group is working on a truce in the most affected areas to deliver aid packages.
Bijan Farnoudi, ICRC, stated that the groups discussed several possibilities to allow humanitarian aid to be delivered. The purpose of this process is to facilitate the Syrian Arab Red Crescent and ICRC access to the people in need.
The current death toll, according to Human rights groups believe that more than 7,000 have been killed. The Syrian government informed that at least 2,000 members of the security forces died fighting militants. (AV)
