Referendum 2011 was Inaugurated

In the presence of the Ecuadorian President, Rafael Correa, international observers, and other authorities, the representative of the National Electoral Council (CNE), Omar Simon, inaugurated the 2011 plebiscite and referendum.

In the electoral body’s headquarters, in the capital city, Omar Simon, invited Ecuador to participate in the referendum. The electoral process began at 7h00 (local time).
