Regional meeting to discuss the future of mobile networks started

The Plenary Meeting # 42 is held from yesterday until November 26 in Quito, organized by GSMA, Latin America. The appointment is debating issues like: Deployment of fourth generation (4G LTE), telecommunications policies and technological advances, among others.

Roberto Aspiazu, Director of the Association of Telecommunications Company (Asetel) said yesterday that the purpose of the meeting is to exchange experiences in the field of telecommunications.

Executives from more than 20 mobile operators, suppliers of the mobile industry and telecommunications experts from around 20 countries attended the meeting.

Seminars on sanctions and funds of the universal service, public policies of terminals and spectrum were performed yesterday.

For today´s appointment is expected the participation of government authorities and representatives of the mobile operators Claro, Movistar and CNT.
