Remittances from Ecuador increased by 46.03%

Twenty-nine countries were the beneficiaries of remittances sent from Ecuador in the third quarter of 2015. This year, from January to September, the amount of money that left the country rose by 46.03% compared to figures from 2014, according to the Central Bank of Ecuador (BCE for its Spanish acronym).
The top three recipients were Colombia, Peru and China, the first country is the one that recorded the highest rise. The BCE suggests that while from January to September 2014, $ 43.81 million were sent to that country, in the same period of 2015 the number doubled, reaching $ 102.12 million (I).
