Report Reveals Whitney Houston’s Death Cause
Posted On 22 Mar 2012
Whitney Houston’s cause of death was finally revealed. According to Los Angeles County coroner’s office, the singer drowned in the bathtub of her hotel room in Beverly Hills, California. She was suffering from the “effects of atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine use.”
Cocaine and metabolites were identified and contributory to her death, the report said. Houston had a cocktail of marijuana, alprazolam (Xanax), cyclobenzaprine (Flexeril) and diphenhydramine (Benadryl) in her body when she was found dead, however, that “did not contribute to the death,” the report said.
The final coroner’s report will be available within two weeks.
