Second sanction is pending against Abdala Bucaram Pulley

Abdala Bucaram Pulley
Assemblyman PRE, Abdala Bucaram Pulley faces a second penalty filed by the Council on Legislative Administration (CAL). This sanction was caused by the statements made Bucaram on October 31 on the first vice president of the Assembly of AP Rosana Alvarado, in a television channel.
Bucaram talked about the one-month suspension imposed by the Ethics Committee of Alianza PAIS to Gina Godoy, Paola Pabon and Soledad Buendia where the Assemblyman PRE stressed that remained Alvarado ‘very quiet’ over the position of the regime leader Rafael Correa, against abortion, so as not to affect their business in the state. Alvarado asked immediately the punishment of Bucaram with a 30-day suspension.
The CAL asked the defendant his rebuttal evidence. While Ricardo Moncayo (CREO), agency spokesman revealed that in the last Council meeting it was decided, with the abstention of his part, to prepare “the prosecution and punishment obviously” against Bucaram, because his explanation was not accepted.
