The artist´s grandfather enssured she has lupus but the symptoms are under control

In an interview with the website radaronline.com, Ricardo Gomez, Selena Gomez’s grandfather, confirmed that the actress and singer has lupus, but ensured that its symptoms are under control. “Selena is receiving treatment and is now much better,” said the grandfather of the artist, indicating that the disease was diagnosed 2 years ago.

Lupus is an autoimmune renal disease that affects the skin, joints and nervous system. Regarding rumors that involve the artist with drugs, her grandfather said she entered in rehab for exhaustion.
