SENAIN spied on political figures and activists as evidenced by the Ecuador Transparent website

The website www.ecuadortransparente.org , which receives anonymous information of public interest, released a list of political figures and activists that have been investigated, intercepted by the National Intelligence Secretariat (SENAIN), in addition to being under a systematic espionage.

The list we can find: Alberto Acosta, Fernando Balda, businessman Alvaro Noboa, journalist María Josefa Coronel, cartoonist Xavier Bonilla, among others.

With this the type of tracking Ecuadorians have been subjected to, it is evident civilians are defenseless against such a violation of privacy.
