Seven prefectures would remain for the officialism

Posted On 25 Feb 2014

Imagen 1According to the results of the quick count released by the National Electoral Council (CNE) the officialism would have won 7 of the 23 prefectures of the country and 4 in alliances with other movements.

With these results, the movement of government would surpass the number of prefectures reached in the elections held in 2009, when obtained 6 own and other 3 in alliances.

The SUMA Movement would have won two own prefectures and a third in alliance with the Christian Social Party in what was their first participation in local elections.

Yesterday afternoon, the quick count continued because not actual figures were entered into the CNE system. Therefore, Patriotic Society (SP), expects to actual votes attributed them the prefecture of Sucumbios, which would be on dispute with the government according to leaders of SP.

Meanwhile, of the 19 prefects who sought the reelection, 4 from ruling party would have obtained adverse results.
