Several cities celebrate the Carnival holiday

The holiday of Carnival is lived intensely since yesterday in several parts of the country. Ambato feast days began yesterday at 09:00 with the blessing of an allegory made with flowers, fruit and bread, in the Eucharist in the atrium of the Cathedral of Ambato.

In Riobamba, the proclamation carnival had the participation of 30 local troupes and two international groups. On the sidewalks of First Street Constituent were about 2,000 people to celebrate Carnival. The parade started from the square of La Dolorosa, in the south.

For their part, the Esmeraldas carnival began with the election of Geanela Rivas and Dorisney Gómez as Miss and Mrs. Carnival 2014. They will preside in the holiday festivities. The gala was Friday night at the Civic Plaza Estupiñán Nelson Bass.

While the Guayaquilean Carnival Parade have dance academies as protagonists. More than a dozen groups danced near the Malecon 2000, in the center of the city.
