Shakira and Gerard Piqué

This afternoon, Colombian singer Shakira gave birth to her first child, due to her relationship with Spanish soccer player Gerard Piqué. The baby’s name is Milán Piqué Mebarak.

The announcement was made via Twitter by Shakira’s foundation, “Pies Descalzos”.

“The children and the team of Pies Descalzos Foundation are happy for the birth of Milan! We love Shaki”.

Hours before the scheduled cesarean, Shakira asked his followers  for a prayer for her and her baby.
