Support to marches in Guayaquil and Portoviejo
Luis Chancay, leader of the Popular Front of Guayas, announced he will participate in the collectives convention this Saturday August 29 in Quito.
They plan to lead a march in the afternoon in downtown Guayaquil against the policies of the regime and for which teachers, students, workers, traders, among others, were called.
They will also join the national march scheduled for September 16.
In Manabi, representatives of leftist movements are convinced that they must continue to support the mobilizations so that the Government rectifies and so the people of that province express themselves in a great assembly on September 3 in Portoviejo.
The Manabi leader of Popular Unity, Mery Zamora, also said that trade unionists and indigenous people will participate in the meeting on Saturday in Quito to define new demonstrations and even a national strike.
