This Monday, the Spanish Supreme Court absolved Baltasar Garzon from the charge of abusing of his jurisdiction as judge. Garzon started a trial in 2008 regarding the atrocities committed during the Spanish civil war from 1936 and 1939.
The Spanish judge gained international notoriety when he accepted international cases of human rights. However during the early days of February, the famous judge was suspended for 11-years after he was declared guilty of internal investigations and corruption charges.
