Syrian Regime Attacks Damascus Refugee Camp
Mortars rained down on a crowded Marketplace in a Palestinian refugee camp in the Syrian capital. The attack killed 21 people as the regime forces and rebels fought in the southern outskirts of Damascus.
The attack on Yarmouk camp occurred as the government fought with the rebels in the suburb of Tadamon on Thursday evening. Meanwhile the UN agency running Palestinian camps confirmed that at least 20 people died in the shelling of Yarmouk.
According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the mortars struck the civilians as they where buying food.
The human rights organization recently informed that Samih Maaytah, ministry of information of Jordan stated that the Syrian forces attacked a group of civilian exiles that where crossing into Jordan. (AV)
