The technicians of the Tepco company discovered a crack in the reactor #2 were highly doses of radiated water is being leaked into the ocean. The filtration is of 1,000 millisieverts per hour, which is enough to increase the risk of cancer to any person exposed for a long-term. Tepco already announced that they will proceed immediately to seal the crack with cement to stop the filtration.
Experts from the French nuclear company Areva, supplier of nuclear fuel to Fukushima, are helping the Japanese technicians to find a solution for disposing of the radiated water that has reached the ocean.
