The Air Exclusion Zone Must be Approved by the U.N.
The Secretary of the United States, Hillary Clinton, informed this Wednesday that the establishment of an air exclusion zone in Libya must have the support of the United Nations, as well as the backup of other countries besides North America. France and the United Kingdom are working on a draft of the document that will be presented to the Security Council; however, Russia and China have warned to the NATO that they oppose to this action.
Meanwhile, the Libyan dictator stated that this air exclusion zone is nothing more than a pretext of the countries from the west to steal his oil. According to military experts to establish an air exclusion zone, it requires the deployment of military troops with the possibility of a selective attack to neutralize Gaddafi defenses.
The president of United States, Barack Obama and the British Prime Minister, David Cameron agreed that the main objective is to end the violence in Libya and force Gaddafi out of power.
