The Anti-Corruption Front will be installed on June 5

President Lenin Moreno will receive on Monday, June 5, the members of the Front for Transparency and Fight against Corruption, in Carondelet. The body will be installed this morning. The President invited 13 people to join the Front last Thursday.
They are Xavier Zavala Egas, Pablo Vanegas, Julio César Trujillo, Fabián Corral, Monseñor Fausto Trávez, Pablo Dávila, Tatiana Hidrobo, Larissa Marangoni, Francisco Borja, Carlos Rabascall, the ministers Rosana Alvarado and Maria Fernanda Espinosa and the Secretary of Senplades, Andrés Mideros. However, the details of the responsibilities and scope of the body remain unknown.
Moreno anticipated in his letter of invitation that he will take charge of the policies and actions of prevention against corruption in the public and private sector.
The Head of State said that the body would urge the judicial and control authorities to prosecute the corrupt, and the body shall issue suggestions for strengthening of the legal order and establish mechanisms of moral education in the education system (I).
