The CIA accuses WikiLeaks of aiding US enemies.

Posted On 09 Mar 2017
Wednesday the CIA accused WikiLeaks of helping US foes by revealing the methods it uses to convert Apple’s iPhone or Samsung’s smart TVs into spy systems.
“The American society must be gravely concerned at any WikiLeaks revelation designed to damage the ability of intelligence services to protect the United States from any terrorist or adversary,” stated CIA spokesman Heather Horniak.
“Such publications not only endanger US personnel and operations but also provide our enemies with tools and information to harm us,” the spokesman added.
The Washington Post claimed that the FBI is preparing a major operation to determine who leaked about 9,000 documents released by the organization founded by Julian Assange.
These, whose authenticity has not been confirmed by the CIA, describe the nearly thousand malware that allow the US government to take control of electronic devices to spy on their users.
Having direct access to these devices allows listening to conversations and avoiding the encryption systems of messaging applications such as WhatsApp (Facebook) or Signal.
