The CNE approved the oversight for Cpccs contest

The National Electoral Council (CNE for its Spanish acronym) approved on January 20 the oversight call for competition for the renewal of the Council of Citizen Participation and Social Control (Cpccs for its Spanish acronym). The resolution was taken by unanimous decision of the members Juan Pablo Pozo, Nubia Villacis, Mauricio Tayupanta and Ana Marcela Paredes.

The call will be published on Monday, January 26 and will be disseminated in 24 provinces of the country. The deadline for five days will end on Friday 30 at 17:00. The social organizations and citizens that wish to participate in the monitoring of the process shallregister according to the requirements of the regulations.

Juan Pablo Pozo, CNE president, said that on this occasion they will also seek the participation of an international oversight.
