Ecuadornews:
The Ecuadorian government today rejected indiscriminate violent acts against the civilian population and expressed solidarity with Colombia following the attack in a mall yesterday, in which three people died.
The Foreign Ministry today condemned the death of three women and at least nine wounded as a result of an explosion in the north of the Colombian capital and rejected “these indiscriminate violent acts against the civilian population,” according to a statement.
“This Ministry rejects any manifestation of terrorist attacks and hopes that those responsible for this heinous crime against humanity are punished with the full weight of the law,” said the note expressing its condolences to the families of the victims.
An artifact exploded yesterday in one of the women’s restrooms on the second floor of the exclusive Andino Shopping Center, located in the so-called “pink zone” of Bogota, where there are shops, restaurants and entertainment venues, and authorities are looking for the culprits. (I)
