The importance of breakfast in children
Posted On 23 Apr 2014
With the return to school, parents should understand that breakfast is a priority from which the learning performance depends. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and can not be compensated with the lunch children take at school. This meal provides the energy that students need in their activities.
Both children and adults use energy during the day, which serves to maintain vital functions such as cardiorespiratory and thermal. It is important that breakfast contains protein, carbohydrates and vitamins, such as bread or cereal, eggs, ham and fruit.
