The Last Supper Didn’t Happen on Thursday Says a New Investigation
It is popularly known that the Last Supper Jesus had with his apostles happened in the night of Holy Thursday, however the British Professor Colin Humphreys claims in a book published by Cambridge University that the Last Supper took place on a Wednesday.
“I found out that the Last Supper was held on Wednesday April 1st of the year 33 A.C.,” Humphreys told The Times.
“That’s the problem: experts in the Bible and Christians believe that the Last Supper began after sunset on Thursday and the crucifixion took place the next day at 09.00. The trial of Jesus occurred in several areas of Jerusalem. The experts toured the city with a stopwatch to see how they could produce all the events between Thursday night and Friday morning, most concluded that was impossible,” said the professor, according to excerpts of his book “The Mystery of the Last Supper”.
