The Man of Steel excited the big screen

Henry Cavill plays the famous alien superhero, the actor came to the red carpet with Amy Adams, the new Lois Lane, to attend the screening of the film at Lincoln Center in New York, on Monday.

The latest installment of Superman, had a cost of $ 225 million and will hit cinemas in Ecuador on Friday June 14. The event was also attended by it’s director Zack Snyder. Regarding the film Cavill said, “I saw it a month ago and, honestly, I was speechless.”

“There are many parts of me involved in the tape. It causes powerful emotions. I knew the script and the story, and yet I almost cried three times in the first half hour, which is crazy. It turned out to be a genuine and intimate experience. Hopefully the viewer will feel the same,” added the actor.

Lets not forget the actors who played the Man of Steel in other versions. The legendary Christopher Reeve played Superman in four occasions, 1978, 1980, 1983 and 1987. However, after falling off a horse was paralyzed from the neck. Reeve died on October 10, 2004, of a heart condition.

Followed by Reeve, the actor Dean Cain played Superman in the television series Lois&Clark: The New Adventures of Superman in 1993. Tom Welling also became the man of steel in the popular series Smallvile (2001), which chronicles the life of Clark Kent growing up in a small town in Kansas.

Brandon Routh subsequently landed the role of Superman in 2006 for the film Superman Returns.
