Pope Francisco
For the first time, the Argentine pontiff said there was a stream of corruption in the Roman Curia and of the existence of an influential “gay lobby”.
“In the Curia there are holy people, really, there are holy people. But there is also a stream of corruption, there are, indeed,” admitted the Pope in an audience granted last June 6 at the Latin American and Caribbean Confederation of Religious people.
These statements suggest that the Pontiff prepares deep changes in the Vatican.
“They talk about a ‘gay lobby’, and it is true, It is there… we have to see what can we do,” said the Holy Father, referring to an internal blackmail system on sexual weaknesses, reported by the Italian press in February .
