Posted On 21 Jan 2014
According to two teachers of the Liceo Municipal Fernández Madrid, a high school in Quito, the institution just sing the National Anthem and the high school one on the early minutes before class.
In other educational institutions such as the Sagrados Corazones and the San Fernando, are not accustomed to sing the theme song of the capital.
However, in the Unidad Educativa Municipal Experimental Sucre, they do sing the hymn with the fourth stanza instead of the second, after the arrangement made in 2012 for the change of stanzas, and formalized by the Metropolitan Council last Thursday, where mayor, Augusto Barrera is involved.
