The New Miss Ecuador Will Be Elected on Thursday

The 19 aspirants to the 2011 Miss Ecuador crown arrived to Santo Domingo de los Colorados on Thursday, home of the pageant this year.
The Venue of the city was rebuilt for the final presentation of the event, a gala that will be held on Thursday (March 17th) at 20:00, where the contestants will model in traditional costumes.
The candidates will participate in the first 10 K’tedral athletic competition organized by the municipal government and the Diocese of Santo Domingo in order to raise funds for the construction of the main religious temple of the city.
The new Miss Ecuador will receive a crown designed by Daniella Kronfle, made with white gold, silver, 421 white sapphires, and 762 green quartz.
