The Sercop and the Transparency Front create the Code of Ethics
Ecuadornews:
Santiago Vásquez, director general of the Public Procurement Service (Sercop) yesterday requested the Front of Transparency and Fight Against Corruption the creation a Code of General Ethics. The aim is that private companies and the public sector agree on benchmarks where bribes, the creation of tax havens and the transfer of money to the latter are no longer a common act.
The request was formalized during the first meeting held yesterday by the Front of Transparency and Fight against Corruption after nine members accepted the call of President Lenin Moreno, who introduced and appointed them last week. The event was held at the Ministry of Justice, in the north of Quito. According to Xavier Zavala Egas, a member of the Transparency Front, these working tables will be replicated every Monday (I).
