The tariffs increase in Puerto Bolívar will undergo a new revision

The fare of 28 port services for banana exports at Puerto Bolivar will be reviewed, according to Hugo Rodas, the new undersecretary of Maritime and River Transport.
Rodas, through a letter dated June 21, asks the Port Authority of Puerto Bolivar to review the new tariff that was applied by the concessionaire Yilportecu S. A.
The concessionaire may charge up to $ 0.20 for the banana cargo shipment from May to June; $ 0.23, from July to August and $ 0.28 from September
The decision is made after the malaise this increase originated in the banana export sector. Rodas also requested a study of the subject, in which he requested the participation of the Ministry of Transport and Public Works. (I)
