They broadcast videos of supporters of correa beating their critics

Users in the social networks of Facebook and Twitter, have been responsible for broadcasting several videos in which alleged supporters accompanying the caravans to former President Rafael Correa, who travels the country campaigning for the NO in the popular consultation of the next 4 of February, beat those who dare to express their discontent over the presence of the former president.
In a video several individuals are observed hitting citizens for supposedly having made a rejection before the caravan led by the former president. In another video Correa is heard saying: “To beat the traitors, the spoiled like that scoundrel there,” referring to a critic of his government that was being held by the police.
The Assemblywoman for Fuerza Ecuador, María Mercedes Cuesta, also denounced that her mother, Mrs. Amelia Concari de Plaza was verbally assaulted by Correa himself, shouting “pelucona” after she, along with some friends, chanted YES to the step of the caravan that campaigned for the NO in the popular consultation. According to Mrs. Concari, after Correa’s insult, two women who accompanied the former president. Cuesta called Correa a “coward” through his Twitter account. Correa has not issued any comment on the accusation. (I)
