Amy Sabani, 25 years; Sarah Seckinger and Amber Kariolich, 23, waitresses of the family restaurant Boone County in Caledon, could not believe that a woman had given a cheque of $5,000 for each.
The owner of the restaurant, Matt Nebiu, said that business was loose on Saturday when occurred this act of generosity.
Sabani told the digital newspaper Rockford Register Star, that at first she thought that the check was for $500, but then noticed the actual amount and refused to accept it. According to Sabani, the woman told the waitress to use the money for the school and “anything in life”.
Seckinger said she will return to the school because the previous semester was too expensive to get her degree in criminal justice.
