The first filter before getting a contract with the State to explore and exploit oil fields, located in the southeast of the country, was passed by the oil companies Repsol (Spain), Andes Petroleum (China) and international partners of the public company Petroamazonas.
Andres Donoso, Hydrocarbons Secretary informed that the oil companies obtained the maximum score, i.e. ten points, on the technical offer. At the public meeting were recepted the financial bids whose values were not announced.
In the first phase, the Tenders Committee, headed by José Icaza y Donoso, considered the financial solvency of the companies.
It also analyzed the operational capacity (global oil production), capital expenditures in exploration, the explored area and other points, which allowed the companies to get the maximum score.
The presentation of the financial bids, which corresponds to the second phase, will be disseminated in the upcoming days. Oil blocks in bidding are 79, 83, 29 and 28.
