Tim Burton May Direct PINOCCHIO for Warner Bros

Warner Bros is in talks with the eccentric filmmaker, Tim Burton to perform a new adaptation of Pinocchio, from the Italian Carlo Collodi.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Burton is interested in directing this new version of flesh and bone characters. The director has his eye on Robert Downey Jr. to star as Geppetto.

The rest of the script is the work of Bryan Fuller, while production will be headed by Dan Jinks, under the supervision of Guillermo del Toro.
