Times Square is ready for the descent of the iconic New Year crystal ball

The rehearsal of the descent of the iconic crystal ball was conducted yesterday, which will mark the start of the New Year in Times Square, where millions of people around the world will gather.

The sphere, composed of 2,688 crystal triangles, appeared above a gigantic 2015 already placed several weeks ago. During the seconds after the noon, dozens of tourists and locals could see how the crystal ball lit up and down its 3256 green red, blue, green and white lights.
