Tourism of Ecuador expects a $ 850 million investment from Spain

Some $ 850 million could arrive in the country from Spain for the tourism sector. Minister of Tourism Enrique Ponce de León announced the news yesterday during an exhibition of the achievements of that agency in the first 100 days of Lenin Moren´s government.
He explained that the $ 500 million investment would come from the Deutsch Spaniche Handelsgesellschaft (DSH) of Valencia and another $ 350 million from Globalia.
Minister Ponce also reported that an event called the Great National Tourist Fair is being organized to promote domestic tourism, which includes internal tourist packages with affordable prices and financing options. (I)
