Twitter Hacked: Thousands of Passwords Posted on the Web
Posted On 09 May 2012
The passwords of 35,000 Twitter accounts were posted on the online file sharing website Pastebin.com.
Twitter said they will investigate on how the user names and passwords of so many users got posted on the portal.
However some of the information posted on Pastebin.com belongs to spam accounts and featured incorrect login credentials.
The apparent data breach came after Twitter challenged a court order to submit personal data and tweets as evidence in a case involving an Occupy Wall Street protester. (ARL)
