Twitter Temporarily Disabled Its New Design
Twitter, the microblogging social network with more than 200 million registered users, had some difficulties on Tuesday. Some users had to use the earlier version of Twitter, instead of the new design presented in September, while others could not access the page at all, and visualized a message saying that “there was a technical problem” and that soon “things will return to normal.”
Twitter announced last month that its headquarters had been moved to an unrevealed location, in order to “keep up” with the company’s needs and their capacity to provide greater reliability.
The data center in Utah, which was designed to meet the needs of the Twitter engine, has been plagued with problems, which forced Twitter to move most of its operations to a facility in Sacramento, California.
