Under conditions the Guayaquil City Hall will assume the traffic competence

The Guayaquil City Hall, will assume the duties of transit responsibly, but with the necessary resources, according to Doménica Tabacchi, Deputy Mayor of Guayaquil, in statements made on Monday, 22 September in Ecuadoradio.

Tabacchi said that the City Hall will assume the duties of city traffic when the government complies with the Constitution. She indicated they will make it when they receive the economic substance of  $ 30 million and a difference of over 14 million in subsidies.

About public transport fares, Tabacchi requested the central government to assume its jurisdiction of first define the national rate, so that later the Guayaquil City Hall gets involved in the complementary part.
